How we research, review, and update insurance guides.
Health insurance is Your Money or Your Life (YMYL) content. Covly publishes educational guides with named authors, independent medical or insurance review, and visible update dates. This page is the public record of those rules.
Sources and claims
We prefer primary sources: CMS, HealthCare.gov, state departments of insurance, and issuer plan documents. We do not present marketing claims as fact. Statistics get a year and a source in the body or a footnote once citations ship.
Review and updates
Pillar and cluster pages carry a named author and a reviewer. Material changes to eligibility, benefits, or costs trigger a re-review. Date modified in the byline is the date the reviewed text last changed, not a cosmetic publish.
Independence
Editorial pages are not written by issuers. If a page includes an affiliate or referral path, that relationship is disclosed on the page. Rankings and “best” language require documented criteria; this sample site does not publish paid rankings.
